MATICO Known as ‘Soldiers Herb’ in English, this flowering plant grows in the altitudes of Peru’s Andes Mountains. The native people of these highland regions took Matico to sooth stomach discomfort and diarrhea. Women also drank Matico Tea to help alleviate mild symptoms of menstrual cycle and cramps.
