Nord-Lock Steel Expanded Outer Diameter (SP) Wedge Lock Washers are designed for use together with flange bolts and nuts (ISO 4161, 4162) on oversized and slotted holes or on delicate surfaces and soft materials.
Nord-Lock Wedge Lock Washers secure bolted connections that are subjected to strong vibration and dynamic loads by clamping force instead of friction.
The wedge lock washer is hardened throughout to ensure it is harder than the screw and contact surface. Treated with Delta Protekt zinc flake surface coating for improved corrosion resistance.
Works with all screw classes up to 12.9. Safety function is not affected by lubrication. No tightening required. Reusable, depending on the conditions of use.
